Sophia Chung

Paralegal/Legal Secretary

Sophia Chung graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005.  She joined CK&C in 2006 as a paralegal and office manager and remained in that position until 2009, when she went to South Korea to teach English.  After two years, the firm managed to persuade her to return, which she did in July 2011.  She left again in 2018 to pursue other endeavors.  After a long break, she returned in the summer of 2024. She specializes in complex commercial litigation.

As a competitor at Cal, Ms. Chung was on several collegiate national championship Taekwondo teams.  During her tenure as coach, she led her athletes to five consecutive national championships between 2014 and 2018.  Today, having recently returned to the Bay Area, she is the Senior Associate Coach of Cal’s team.
